This Christmas Eve menu for the Hotel Martianez looks long but it is really the same set menu written in three languages--Spanish, German and French (which makes for a fun excuse to learn some foreign language culinary vocabulary!). A red Christmas tree, candles, and a bell add some festive flair to this holiday menu.

Puerto de la Cruz was a popular tourist destination in the 1950s, especially during the winter and at the holidays.
