Libraries are based on the belief that through knowledge people can form intelligent opinions and engage in beneficent actions. Not coincidentally, this is also a founding principle of our democracy. Patriots of Hudson in the Revolutionary War celebrates the sacrifice and bravery of the many founders of Hudson who participated in our nation’s fight for independence.

We thank everyone who believes in, supports and utilizes the Hudson Area Library. We thank the many, many people who gave their time, energy, money and skills to this exhibit as a means of supporting our library's mission to serve the community.
