one thousand eight hundred and sixty three to serve three years [illegible]
during the war, is hereby Discharged [bold] from the service of the United States
this Thirteenth day of February, 1865, at Greenville
Louisiana by reason of [hu?e??] certificate of disability
(No objection to his being re enlisted is known to exist.) [strikethrough]
 
Said William W. Coun [sic] was born in Newbern
in the State of North Carolina is 19 years of age,
5 feet 6 inches high, African complexion, black eyes,
black hair, and by occupation, when an enrolled, a Farmer
 
Given at Greenville La this Thirteenth day of
