Know ye, That William W. Coon
a Private of Captain Geean R. [Liringstiris?]
Company, (K) Eleventh Regiment of United States Colired [sic] Trpy. [Troops] (Hy)
VOLUNTEERS, who was enrolled on the secend [sic] day of December
one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three to serve three years ce
during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States
this thirteenth day of February, 1865, at Greenville
Louisiana by reason of [hugein?] certificate of disability
(No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.) [strikethrough]
Said William W. Coon was born in Newbern
in the State of Nrth [North] Carolina is 19 years of age,
5 feet 6 inches high, African complexion, black eyes,
black hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a Farmer
Given at Greenville La this thirteenth day of
